Xbox Media Center Remote gets a date

It's understandable if the Xbox 360 remote didn't make you jump. It's been lingering around blogs for a while now. It's finally got a date now and we're hoping that Microsoft live up to this promise. The remote will qualify the Xbox 360 as an established Media Center terminal rather than just a game console. The controller will add power on and off, volume and mute buttons, as well as TV input. It also packs some meaty set of Xbox 360 controls (duh!).

We will be seeing the awesomeness of the remote in November this year, available for a mere $20. Start collecting 'em pennies right away.
