Free WiFi networks

The Chinese today are all too used to visiting the internet for free in places like bars, restaurants, hotels and bookstores, with free WiFi hotspots turning commonplace amongst the people. However, the good old times are about to change, as officials will now keep a wary eye on WiFi networks around, banning free-access to customers who’ve gotten used to logging onto the internet for free while visiting these businesses. Web activity will be monitored via software which will cost an additional $3100 to set up, and ignoring this could lead to fines of up to $2300! We’re pretty sure people in China who’ve been enjoying free unattended internet access all this while are going to be left frowning once this ban comes true.
