Mindscape pulls Nabaztag project off the internet; rabbit-devices go numb

If you’ve probably heard of the rabbit-like ambient internet device called the Nabaztag project that showed up a while ago, we’ve brought solemn news. Mindscape, the brains behind the project, has abandoned it, pulling the service offline, leaving the devices useless, with theviolet.net and nabaztag.com going off air. And for those who haven’t had a taste of the project, this one gave access to MP3 sharing, supported voice commands, and also sported features like weather forecasts, stock reports, alarm clocks, news, and RSS feeds. And for those who’ve still got their eyes on this one, Mindscape was kind enough to give out the source code for the device and its servers! So hopefully, alls not lost for the Nabaztag community yet!
